GMCD 7147 – How Lovely Are Thy Dwellings
The Choir of the Collegiate Church of St Mary Warwick, Mark Shepherd – Conductor & Director of Music, Kevin Bowyer – Organ, Desmond Jack – Alto, Martin Carpenter & Simon Tyldesley – Tenor, Ray Sollett – Baritone, Robin Verney & Peter Stubbs – Bass
Gramophone – Awards issue 1998
The dignified and beautiful church evidently has a choir worthy of it. Their excellence is not merely technical: they really do sound as though they’re singing for love.
The programme is a delight, every item a winner, and something that must be heard is the organ solo, War March of the Ancient Martians attributed to Caractacus Ginger McIvor: possible only once, but it must be heard.

Benjamin Britten was hardly out of his teens when he composed his Te Deum in C, of of 13 tracks recorded by the Choir of the Collegiate Church of St. Mary, Warwick
This fine church which I visited last year, has an excellent choir conducted by Mark Shepherd, with Kevin Bowyer supportingĀ as organist. The Guild recording features music from Brahms and Faure to Grayston Ives and John Rutter.
